Marshall Welch is a "recovering academic" who spent 30+ years in higher education as a professor and administrator focused on scholarly writing. Now retired, Marshall is writing fiction and short stories. His alter ego, Doc Trinaire, is the host of a podcast entitled, OLD GUISE. In a previous life, prior to his academic career, he was a professional musician, a breakfast chef, and a grave digger.
